Arizona's 1st National Association of Realtor's GREEN® Designee!



Gail completed the comprehensive EcoBroker® course in May, 2008, receiving 16 hours of Arizona Department of Real Estate approved continuing education credit.  a REALTOR® with this education helps clients market properties with green features, save money and live comfortably, through energy efficency and environmentally sensitive choices.  EcoBroker® is also an international network of real estate professionals that means Buyers to the Phoenix area.



NAR GREEN®, what's that?
NAR stands for the National Association of Realtors.  NAR offered the brand new GREEN® designation program.  Gail attended the core class in Orlando, Nov., 2008.  The EcoBroker® certification provided Gail with all she needed to complete this designation December 17, 2008, making her the First Arizona REALTOR® to be GREEN®.   This education arms Gail with the resources needed to assist Investors, and other Buyers, and homeowners with their energy and utility concerns.


Gail is a member and sponsor of the Arizona Chapter of USGBC (U.S. Green Building Council), attending monthly Council meetings and monthly green lunches.  Education for sustainability and energy conservations is on-going.


Gail was approved by Co-op America (recently renamed Green America).  Specifically, to be qualified to be listed in the
National Green Pages™, companies must demonstrate that they:

  • Focus on using business as a tool for positive social change.
  • Are "values-driven," as well as profit-driven.
  • Are socially and environmentally responsible in the way they source, manufacture, and market their products and run their offices and factories.
  • Are committed to and employ extraordinary and innovative practices that benefit: 1) workers, 2) communities, 3) customers, and 4) the environment.

 

 
Established in 1954, the American Solar Energy Society (ASES) is the nonprofit organization dedicated to increasing the use of solar energy, energy efficiency, and other sustainable technologies in the U.S.  Gail is a current member receiving emails and Solar Today magazine to stay up to date with all the solar technologies and products.

 

Gail founded EcoMonday, LLC to network with other Green Business Owners in the Phoenix area.
